Understanding Our Support

RCH Foundation is committed to preventing homelessness, strengthening communities, and empowering individuals toward long-term stability.

Criteria to Receive Support

RCH Foundation is committed to providing support in a way that is fair, responsible, and aligned with our mission. To be considered for assistance, individuals and organizations must meet the criteria outlined below.

For Individuals Seeking Support

We support those experiencing hidden, transitional, or episodic homelessness, and those facing financial hardship or barriers to basic stability. Support may be considered for individuals and families who:

  • Are experiencing housing instability, including hidden, transitional, or episodic homelessness

  • Are facing financial hardship or barriers to basic stability, such as lack of transportation, access to essential resources, or temporary crisis situations

  • Demonstrate a clear need that aligns with the RCH Foundation’s mission and available programs

  • Are willing to participate in structured support, referrals, or follow-up when applicable

Applicants may be asked to provide documentation to help verify need and eligibility, such as identification or proof of circumstances.

Please note: Support is typically provided through programs, services, or resources, not unrestricted cash assistance.

For Organizations Seeking Support or Partnership

  • Organizations may be considered if they:
  • Are registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization or recognized community-based or mutual aid group
  • Operate programs aligned with homelessness prevention, community stability, or empowerment
  • Demonstrate measurable impact, accountability, and responsible use of resources
  • Can provide required documentation, such as proof of nonprofit status and program descriptions
  • Priority may be given to organizations serving vulnerable or underserved populations.
  • Potential Partners & Stakeholders:

We collaborate with corporate partners, faith-based organizations, service providers, and community leaders to expand our reach and impact.
  • Additional Considerations

All requests are reviewed based on:

  • Alignment with the RCH Foundation’s mission and priorities
  • Availability of resources at the time of the request
  • Potential for meaningful and sustainable impact
    • Meeting the criteria does not guarantee support, but ensures requests are reviewed fairly and thoughtfully.

    Key principles guiding our support

RCH Foundation's programs and support are driven by our commitment to creating lasting change. Here are the three most important things to know about our approach:

    1. Our Support Is Mission-Driven and Purposeful: We prioritize initiatives that address real needs and create meaningful, lasting impact – not short-term solutions alone. We focus on homelessness prevention, community stability, and long-term empowerment.
    2. Support Is Structured, Not One-Size-Fits-All: We provide support through programs, partnerships, and direct services, rather than unrestricted financial assistance. Each request is carefully reviewed to ensure alignment, feasibility, and accountability. Support is provided through structured programs and partnerships, not unrestricted cash.
    3. Accountability and Impact Matter: We value transparency, clear goals, and measurable outcomes. Individuals and organizations receiving support may be asked to provide documentation, participate in follow-up, or share impact updates. Transparency, accountability, and measurable impact guide everything we do.
